Raymond Hettinger

Raymond Hettinger is one of Python's core developers, contributing a number of builtins including set, frozenset, enumerate, sorted and a number of modules including collections and itertools. He has focused considerable effort optimizing Python, Most recently, he worked as the Chief Visualization Officer for a hedge fund in Beverly Hills CA and devoted his time to new features in Py2.6 and Py3.0 and to reviving the Psyco project (a Python specializing compiler).
