Stefano Taschini

Stefano Taschini is currently with Altis Investment Management AG, Zug, Switzerland, as a senior engineer, investment analytics. His responsibilities include a wide range of aspects and issues in the quantitative analysis endeavours at Altis, from the formalization of mathematical models to their robust implementation in software.  Stefano joined Altis in April 2007 from the high-tech industry, where he was active both as an independent professional as well as in the R&D of the Oerlikon Group.

The author of scholarly publications on quantitative modelling of electronic and electromechanical systems, he was previously a researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich and a visiting researcher at the Shizuoka University in Hamamatsu, Japan.  Stefano holds a Ph.D. from the ETH Zurich and a degree from the University of Bologna, both in electrical engineering. He is a member of the IEEE since 1999.
