Cloud computing is changing the way small enterprises and individual developers are approaching the provisioning of IT resources, wether it being computing or database. In this context a central role is played by the Amazon services.
We'll look at the python open source tools that make it easy to control and use the amazon web services to both carry on system tasks and to integrate them within our applications.
In particular we'll examine the "boto library" ( http://code.google.com/p/boto/ ) which represents a one stop shop for handling everything in aws (from EC2 to S3 and more)
We'll see real life examples of uses that will allow the developers to do operations like:
