Foxgame: Introduzione all'Apprendimento Automatico

An open source video game, a few simple rules, the typical extensibility of a Python project, and then a challenge. Foxgame is developed to give a test field for those who want to learn AI techniques, to experiment both the new solutions and the more familiar ones.
In a two-dimensional universe with an intuitive mechanics, predator foxes move to chase a hare, who can gain safety running after carrots.
In the talk, we will present and experiment techniques coming from various fields of control and learning: traditional and fuzzy control, neural networks and reinforced learning. We'll provide a brief introduction for each of these techniques, then we'll show a detailed example about the development of a simple algorithm.

During the talk it will be thrown down the gauntlet: we're going to propose to the audience to get involved and develop control algorithms for foxes and hares. The AIs submitted will be divided into categories and compared with the other AIs and human players. Both traditional implementations from those moving the first steps in this field and wanting a  comparison and innovative and professional proposals will be welcome.
