In this talk I want to show you some how you can configure emacs to improve drastically your productivity.
Emacs is wonderful and amazingly powerful, but as you probably know not so easy to master.
I'll give a brief overview of elisp, python mode, auto complete and yasnippet, and in the last part I'll show you org-mode.
Org-mode combined with org-babel (http://orgmode.org/worg/org-contrib/babel/intro.php) it's the perfect instrument for literate programming and reproducible research.
The talk will be mostly interactive with real world examples after a short session of introductory slides.
