PyPy 1.1: present and future prospects

Just a little more than two years after version 1.0, PyPy 1.1 has
lately been released: this talk will give an overview on the news
of this latest version and the future prospects of the project,
both from research and end-user standpoint.
For years, PyPy has been regarded as a "cool" project but not
really mature, without any immediate practical usage. Actually,
there are several usecases that can take benefit of PyPy nowadays.
