We welcome non-Italian speakers to our conference!
Python Italia 2010 (May, 7-9th) is the fourth issue of our national conference. Following the great success of the last year, we will be waiting for you at Pycon Italy, the biggest national conference in Europe dedicated to the Python programming language.
We expect more than 400 visitors among companies, professionals and hobbyists that will have a chance to attend to numerous talks about the most up to date topics in the Python world.
As usual, we will provide real-time translation in the conference's main track (the scoprire track in the schedule). The translations will be available to our attendees through wireless headsets; we will both translate Italian talks into English, and English talks into Italian.
This means that even if you don't speak Italian, you can come and enjoy our conference (at least the main track!). The whole website has been translated to English as well, so that you can navigate through it and gather all the details you need.
Notice also that the conference is held in the historical centre of the beautiful city of Florence; moreover, weather in May usually is extremely mild! Coming to PyCon Italia is also a good chance to come to Florence and sightsee the city.
For accommodations, please refer to our comprehensive "Where" page, which also includes a daily-updated list of hotels available in the historical centre of the city. From all those hotels (unless explicitly specified), you can reach the conference's venue by walk.
We also welcome International sponsors at our company. Sponsoring PyCon Italia is a good way to get in reach with the Italian ecosystem of Python developers, companies and universities. Please, refer to the sponsor page to see all the available opportunities.
So, don't hesitate: join us! Registrations are still open!
