The conference

Following the great success of the last year, we will be waiting for you at Pycon Italy, the biggest national conference in Europe dedicated to the Python programming language.

We expect more than 400 visitors among companies, professionals and hobbyists that will have a chance to attend to numerous talks about the most up to date topics in the Python world.

The event is a unique chance to update the knowledge of professionals, already experts with the language, and an entertaining way to start working and playing with it for all the new comers. It is also a great opportunity for business for all the attending companies that will have the chance of letting the community know about them and meet new potential customers or partners.

Through the organization of recruiting sessions PyCon Italy allows enterprises and developers to meet in order to create new partnerships and collaboration.

Events

PyCon Italy is not just talks, recruiting and programming; Every year we plan numerous informal events after the conference to have fun and time to relax all together!. You can't really miss a good PyBeer and a delicious PyFiorentina, both planned in the breathtaking historic center of Florence.

Organization

The conference is organized without profit expectations by the Italian Python Association and aims to spread the Python language in the industry and the italian education system. All the earnings from the conference will be re-invested in future editions and in all promotional activities of the Association.

This event is only possible thanks to the generosity of all the sponsors that invested in this conference and that in the last year they confirmed their interest in PyCon Italy. Thanks to sponsorship earnings we can keep low the price of the tickets thus offering discounts for students that want to learn the language but don't have enough resources to attend to the conference.

Organizing the conference also requires a great effort in a wide range of fields: programming, system administrators, graphic design, web design and so on, for this reason Python Italy Association must thank all the volunteers that lend their abilities for the conference.
