CFP closed and Community Voting

The amount of received submissions this year was astonishing! The CFP is now closed and we’ve started the Community Voting. Please keep in mind that the Early Bird fare will close soon and after that we’ll publish the PyCon Italia X schedule.

It seemed very difficult, but we’ve managed to break the last year record: +16% of submitted papers for the next PyCon Italia X! With the CFP now closed, we’re moving forward with the Community Voting which will end on February 3rd. Keep in mind that the voting is open for everyone that submitted a talk/training proposal, for everyone who’s part of the staff and for everyone owning an Early Bird ticket.

This way we’re going to have submitted proposals ranking which we’ll use to build the schedule of the next PyCon Italia X. The schedule will be online on February 10th. The same day we’ll close the Early Bird fare and the Regular fare will become available. If you want to support PyCon Italia and save a few bucks then you’ll better don’t wait too much :)

Excluded from the voting results are the Keynote speeches, which are directly selected by the organising committee. We’ve already announced a keynoter for the next PyCon Italia X, Sasha Romjin, and soon we’ll announce the other interesting names. Stay Tuned!
